Transit Van Side Door Not Locking

I have a 2003 transit van and had problems with the central locking i had to lock the whole van then quickly unlock the back while holding the side door handle then lck the back doors by flicking the read more.

I have two fob but none worked if i try to open the back doors or reset the central locking by turning the the key on off 8 times in 10. Ford have tested key and it is transmitting. However you can still set off the alarm while attempting to open the power. I m pretty sure it s not a mechanical issue unless a sensor has just failed anyone have any.

I had to take out the lock to repair and decided to show whats happening when rotary knob gets stuck. In my case i could have probably unhooked the yellow. Ford transit central locking problem. Many ford vehicles also provide an open trunk feature.

Hi i have a ford transit lwb 2009 the problem is the side door will not lock with central locking key fob but front and rear tail doors do so was advise that the side door locking mechanism at fault. My blue key is transmitting to my 09 transit van but it does not unlock or lock any door and have to use key to lock and unlock. This allows you to lock and unlock your vehicle doors without actually inserting the key into the door handle. I think i ve somehow managed to upset the central locking on my transit mk7 as when you lock it all up it seems to think there s a door still open in the back locks the front only and then beeps.

2002 ford explorer drivers side door lock rear. But is it transmitting the right code and if it is is the van s security system actually receiving the signal and if it does perhaps the security system has developed amnesia. Removed mechanism and fitted new mechanism to side door still wont lock have you any advice wiring seems ok.
